I have quite a few phones I want to sell, and on one, I accidentally factory reset it without removing my google account from it. In trying to re-login to the phone, it always throws up an "Unknown error, please try again in 24hr" message, and it's been doing this for weeks. PIc related.
Is there any trick to get sign in to work properly? I've attempted to factory reset again and tried FRP bypasses, but those don't seem to work.
And before I get the "give it back, Jamal" I do e-cycling and refurb and resell devices that are still perfectly good. It has been logged into a gmail account I have personal access to and use for setting up and testing devices. I'm not trying to bypass FRP if I don't have to, if there's a way to get login to work, i'll gladly try it.

But seriously, I need a new phone quick, it's cheap. I can live with the drawbacks
- no 5G (4G coverage is plentiful and isn't going anywhere for the realistic lifetime of this phone)
- no 3.5mm (I rarely use it, while I use bluetooth day-to-day)
- chink UI (well I'm coming off stock Android (Nokia/HMD) which has been nothing but a buggy disaster. Plus the interface is getting worse, more clicks to accomplish the same tasks. I might as well give a different UI a chance. My mum has a Redmi and it has given her no problem in 3 years.

I think the 16 pro is about the perfect size but that's a matter of opinion of course. The battery on the 16 for sure lasts longer, you can watch the tests on youtube. The non max models are already gimped with battery life anyway due to the smaller size so I'd take as much as you can get.

a36 is great. it's just a money thing. a36 is really good for basic call/text. a56 is just a really good long term phone you can rely on for at least 5 years. the best option price to performance wise is the a55 if you can find it cheaper. there's also international models of a55 that are cheaper and that come fully specced out (12gb ram/256gb storage), but check your country's bands with those of the a55 int'l model.
