It's literally just Arch without systemd, so either the best thing or the worst depending on who you ask. Personally I like it, you can still use the Arch repos as well as the AUR if you want. It's also one of the few distributions supporting XLibre as well. Also >>106496989 kek

I don't really play games, but I installed Steam once for testing and it worked just fine. The only problem I've encountered is the colord daemon not working properly under both Openrc and Dinit. I managed to fix it for Openrc by changing a line in the init script, but couldn't fix the Dinit one, since I'm not familiar with that init system. >what is that pic from

Just werks. Makes you realize how shit systemd is when it breaks. It's not shilled a lot because people stop caring about distros after they start using it.
the logo isnt as iconic as arch. looking at the arch wiki just impresses this sense of professionalism and officiality. when I was 14 I would go to the arch wiki and kind of admire it jealously, because it was too hard for me to "really" use. whatever an arch user was, I wanted to be that. whatever arch was about, I wanted to be about that. the logo and colorscheme and fonts and all that are pretty important in this impression and effects.

ive used artix for over a year and it just works, had 0 issues. runit is very fast and never hangs up. i think arch/artix is by far the best distro for daily use its very simple and convenient and you can find a package for literally anything on the aur

systemd hate is from posers wanting to seem tech literate. an init system is not a big deal. also u have to basestrap elogind, so lennart has his way your machine anyway
One of my friend use it, he is homeless btw. I told him to actually focus on skill that can land you a tech job but no, he says he likes Artix. Its so sad he may never get a job and die due to hunger

you can use turnstile + seatd to completely replace elogind. basestrap is just a wrapper around pacman. your post just seems like projection
