Arch Linux obviously. Distrohopping isn't even real, just something new users do because they don't understand you can just change your DE (or anything else). The "real" choice is between Debian, Fedora, and Arch. Arch being the endgame once you realize how distros and Linux work.

Arch linux, the problem I had with most other distros is invariably something goes wrong or there's weird bugs and I have no idea how the fuck to fix them, if you keep things simple and just go with arch and then install a wm and a few other basic applications you end up with a robust system that actually just works and when I got that I just stuck with it.

Debian. I used Arch and Artix for some time, but it got annoying having to check an RSS feed every time I updated to make sure I wouldn't brick something. I realized the latest and greatest stuff didn't really matter and if it did, it could just go in a VM or container.

fedora. The only distro out of all I've tried where the installer doesn't crash, the fresh install has no ridiculous issues like failing to boot or deadlocking on shutdown, it doesn't brick itself by updating, and it doesn't expect me to fix anything that isn't my fault to begin with.

Distro hopping is pointless between the major distros desu, all of em do basically the same thing. I use arch because I like AUR more than copr or ppa, and I find pacman to be a slightly better package manager than the rest but basically everything else is the same between distros.
