Are there any good known methods for messing up AI training? It's well known that all of these companies train on OUR data. We can use this to our advantage. One tactic I was thinking of was making hundreds of github repositories that have comments like "Algorithm for X" and then the function is just pure garbage. That way AI will think it's a valid algorithm but in reality it's garbage that ruins the AI model.

I think we shouldn't fight the corpos scraping everything and training their AI. I think the real solution is, what Deepseek showed us: Utilize the big, proprietary AI like ChatGPT to create a new, free AI like Deepseek which can be used by anyone.

You can poison images with nightshade and make those image generating models generate less accurate images. There is a MIT study about it, and according to people with some actual background knowledge, there is no clear way to get around it. Even OpenAI seems to seethe about it to the point they feel "abused".
