But i think this isn't what is killing 4chan. I think it is the same thing that killed mainstream sites:
You can't post or get banned after you said something out-of-line and watch shills spam while you can't post.
Right now i am using residential proxies to write this post, because i managed to get range banned for some unknown reason.

It's like newsmedia comment sections (when those still existed). From ten comments you write, maybe two get approved, while everything around you is low-quality narrative shilling.
What are you supposed to do? Of course at some point you simply leave.

Nah, I looked at the boards and found the highest, but steadiest post counts in their lifespan (so I ignored the biggest temporary spikes around election time and holidays and so on) and then I compared it to the time I checked it to get a percentage of post count decrease.

I ended up with a ranked list of boards based on what percentage of people have stopped posting there. I wanted to find out what boards were the most deserted.

For current slowest boards, you can get that from 4stats even without the graphs.

and /vt/ took a massive loss after a bunch moved to /hlgg/ in the downtime and never came back
Most threads consist of reddit/twitter/tiktok crossposts
Nothing is created here, all of it comes from somewhere else

Yes. Last time I checks 4stats.io, it showed that 4chan's overall posts/day were down ~20% over the past 2 years.
That's alongside the massive number of posts/day from the new /vt/ board so overall board traffic is probably down closer to 25-30%
