If you want to train a lora to use with Pony Realism, train it against Pony Realism

Pony Realism is a large finetune, essentially a different model, training it against SDXL and then using it with Pony Realism will make the lora less effective

Use the ModelMergeAdd node. Keep in mind in this case it's the regular v50 I'm merging with the delta weights (not the new HD) as that seems to work better. Here's a workflow

In that case it's 1152, but in my tests to deslop it properly it should be 2k. I do not use it much as the wait time for 2k is a little longer, but it works, and transfers over prompt following quality from HD to Flash.

You might be able to use the Q6 version on 12GB of vram + 32gb of ram. I can use the Q8 with 16gb vram + 32gb ram just fine (but if i had 64 gb of ram my video time would be a minute faster since i wouldnt have to swap to the hard disk)

you might have to increase your page file size on windows or swap size if you're on linux, i really don't know. there's been a few 3060 i2v genners here so it's definitely doable


you can also look into the 5B model, maybe for i2v it would be okay but don't do this before looking into making the 14B work

Just a heads up, 2.2 doesn't really care what resolution you're outputting at within reason. You could safely go down to something tiny like 368x368 and still get a coherent result. 2.1 was much more finicky which is probably what people are used to troubleshooting for.

So the key to getting rid of the slow motion in 2.2 is to just use the light 2.1 T2V lora + 121 frames at 24 fps? Is that the super secret sauce? Cant imagine waiting 18 minutes for a gen. Someone recommended "just dont use light 2.2 on high noise" which is dumb because it slops the video

Part of the reason for open sourcing is to retain that audience so they don't go out for their hobbies with RP and boyfrend/girlfriend consulting with an American model if a Chinese model as capable. Clearly it has some impact but not a whole lot, I think image and video diffusion, no one really uses non-Chinese models there if they can help it.

And I did my monthly schizo purge and when I re-set up my comfy my gen time went from 200ish seconds to over 300 and interpolating the resulting video takes like twice as long as it used to and idk what is going on at all and I don't even know where to begin to troubleshoot this other than just buying 64gb of ram finally but I'm pretty sure my ram is ddr4 which is hard for me to justify
