Guys will maps on csgo work on linux like on windows? where is the map folder?

you mean running a csgo server on linux? sure, you can do that. in fact most csgo servers run on linux.
but if you mean running graphical applications on linux that's tricky. it's possible, but you won't get a nice experience. linux is mostly intended for servers.

Yeah they're in your steamapps folder just like on Windows, though I think the Linux streamapps folder is under /home/username/.local/Steam
