Major happening, Windows 7 support has been discontinued by Google. As well as earlier Windows plus the Lynx and Links browser (mentioned on the orange site). It looks like Google is upping the browser requirements from when it used to work on almost anything due to the increasing amount of AI features plus also cracking down on companies that scrape Google results.
What ever you think about old web browsers and operating systems, Google had the resources to support them, and now chooses not to. Expect a lot of ewaste from this.

Need a browser to download a browser, and using a usb stick from another pc with a newer os is basically the same thing.
