I used Discord to store personal pictures, info and porn sometimes on the same private servers. But I've since deleted to the account that had created these servers. Now these servers are without any owner.

How fucked am I?

Very. Discord keeps logs on deleted accounts

I'm aware of that, but how likely is it for someone to access this server someday? Companies store just about everything in my life anyway. I'm beyond fucked in that regard. I'm more worried about somebody to actually end up on the server
Is there any way to get discord to delete these servers at least? so nobody can access them anymore

I don't think that can happen in a private server where nobody but you can possibly invite people.
>Is there any way to get discord to delete these servers at least?
I guess you could report but they will still keep the logs themselves. And by reporting you are basically telling them to look at it.

or blatantly refuse to delete your account. I asked them 2x, then years later I get a mail telling me I need to login or risk my account getting removed. 2 days later get a new mail saying previous mail was sent in error

Until recently all files uploaded to shitcord were public and could be viewed by anyone, no account required. I heard they changed it so you have to be logged into an account to access the files now. So, make a bot account and start looking for interesting images. You're fucked.

this isn’t true, they ask you to transfer ownership or delete the servers before deleting an account
Anonymous No.106573087
piss cord don't even let me login without phone number

literally unusable and actually worse than face book imagine that

Yeah that's sort of a dilemma. But if I ask them, there's no guarantee they'll actually delete the server

>>106572882
They didn't back in the day.

Discord is a cancer that starts without you noticing it and stage by stage it becomes worse. I started using this shit from 2015 and up until 2018 didn't notice it much it was good at doing it's thing chatting and Voice (still worse than TeamSpeak). 2019 and after it started incorporating more commercial crap (Store, more nitro subs). Now I hate it, but non of my friends (Yes, I have some) don't want to use Matrix (That sucks too, but less)

Discord is what you make of it. I got my start because my friends in VRchat used it. If you don’t know how to make friends in general, you aren’t gonna have a great time on Discord. You have to be intentional about who you’re focusing your time on and make it clear through what you say/do your goal is to be a positive influence on others.

This is why people fail on Discord. You can’t just add random ass people to your friends list and expect it to thrive. A lot of people here are have reddit levels of mental issues but are fun/engaging to talk to because we’re all anonymous.

I forgot to mention, you also need to ERP a lot. I often do "Princess Celestia dommy mommy mindbreaks bratty Rainbow Dash and makes her regress into infancy with diapers" roleplay with my best bud, and we goon on voice. It's a really good way to form tighter bonds, and have a great time. Don't believe me? Fine; but don't knock on it until you've tried it. I've gotten way better at doing the female voice since I started doing this routine.

This shit needs to be shutdown and the company investigated by the feds. O9A/764 groups are openly trading CSAM and blackmailing kids. Discord staff is likely aware but doesn't want to draw attention to it because their own employees are involved in grooming and shit. The entire platform/company is evil. Do not use discord.

You do you. Everypony is a little different and Equestria has its undercarriage. The cutie marks don’t make themselves.

>>106573373

There are people who make things happen, people who let things happen and people who wonder what the fuck happened. This is just my opinion, but >>106573360 makes things happen, you let things happen and OP wonders “wtf happened.”

When I say “make friends in general” I mean YOU have a clearly defined idea of what YOU’RE about and can identify other people who are about that too. I know what I’m about, so my VRchat friends for instance didn’t just kind of appear. I have been very intentional about each one I make.

That doesn't seem to be the case. I can get an image link from a discord server and open it in my browser.
Unless you want to say browser is secretly logged in despite not having used the discord-in-browser in 5 years, having no cookies related to discord web domains, and using a private tab on top of that (not to say private browsing mode means anything server side, just that any local cookies in my normal profile wouldn't be used in a private session).
Or does the link carry tracking information and it figures since my attempt to view it is coming from the same hardware and IP, it must be me, the user who produced the link while logged in?

Discord is where all the school shootings and terrorist attacks are planned. It’s also the best place to get groomed if you’re a minor.

It's funny how most people have not realized yet that it needs a single data breach and their entire chat history including all media will be available to the public. Big companies have data breaches all the time and discord will be no exception. This is the power of unencrypted centralized messengers. Treat all your messages as if they were public, you have been warned.
