They are still less evil then Microsoft, Meta, OpenAI, Amazon, every Elon Musk company, NVIDIA and pretty much every other big tech company out there, with the exception of maybe Apple.
It was pretty obvious when Google rolled out AMP (accelerated mobile pages) which copies a site's content and hosts it with limited features on Google's own servers, preventing the author's website from getting any traffic and ad revenue.

Google has been known to sue for copyright. They don't get that kind of protection. All of alphabet need to be sued into oblivion for this copyright theft.
