What can I do with my skills now that jeets and AI have made it impossible for newcomers to find a job in the industry? I've been thinking of becoming an electrician's apprentice.

Learn weirder programming skills, AI can mostly barely automate shit like python scripting and javascript.
Anything with assembly or physics or advanced math makes AI shit the bed.

stick to what you know already or learn "prompt engineering"
people always tout the trades as an alternative but these apprentice positions are highly coveted and in very short supply
you aren't gonna find shit unless you know someone already in the trades

the industry is just shaking off all the retards they panic hired during covid. it looks like a bloodbath currently but it will even out in a year or two (especially since people are falling for the FUD and going into trades instead)
