still btdigg isn't good I had trouble even getting to the BF leak because of how shit the search feature is

Yeah, you have every right to ask for alternatives, BTDig is very questionable in all kinds of ways. I don't have a good alternative though, maybe knaben? It doesn't find as much trash, for better or worse. And offers much better tracker information, stuff like seeds etc.

In fact, I tried to look up what the difference between knaben.eu and knaben.org is (one just redirects to the other, but I didn't know that) and I found something even more interesting: https://knaben.info/

is there software so I can scrape magnets myself ?

Jackett searches on torrent indexers but these don't have many torrents
BTDigg has a lot more but I don't know how
how does it indexes so many magnets that I can't find on any indexer
