Reviews just solidified my purchase too. Apparently the new camera plateau antenna gives it way better signal than the 16 series. This is great as I work very remote often without or on the edge of coverage.

The anti-glare looks underwhelming (and I have to work in bright sunlight) so I bought a matte screen protector which I am going to try for the first time.

Now if only the LiDAR turned out to be massively upgraded...that would be a gamechanger for me.

I need a new phone because the front glass of my A52s 5G broke and I dislike this phone enough that I don't even want to repair it, I just want a better one. While I appreciate the battery capacity and like the screen quality, I mostly have complaints with this Samsung:

So, the time has come to finally retire my old ass xiaomi redmi note 7. It had served me well and i was very satified with it, but i would like a bit snappier phone, so things can run faster.

I have a simple question, is Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 an ideal upgrade or is there any better choice today? it's pretty cheap and has amoled screen which is pretty cool.
My only requirement for a new phone is that it is some phone that is compatible with custom roms and popular loaders like TWRP etc, so i can easily swap the default bloated rom for some custom one, have magisk, install youtube vanced and so on.

It's basically a toss-up in terms of camera quality. Pixel has slightly better photos. iPhone has far better video.
I've been going Pixel for a long time. But the Google Pixel 10 presentation was so shit and the generational improvements are so insulting (Pixel 10 is basically exactly the same as 9) that I decided to try iPhone this time for the far superior video.
