Yeah, it sucks when that happens. I have terrible browsing habits. I keep telling myself I'm only going to use my browser for fetching documentation, but NOOOOO! But I only have myself to blame, not Firefox.

If you have tabs you need to save and reopen later, you can right click on the tab bar, click 'Select All Tabs', then click 'Bookmark Tabs' and save them to a folder. You can reopen all of those bookmarked tabs by right clicking on the bookmark folder and clicking 'Open All Bookmarks'.

I use this, it also sometimes loses tabs due to Firefox jank sometimes but it also has auto saves, I can back up for up to a month

Even if Chrome crashes to oblivion on history the first option is always "restore 24 tabs" or whatever it was last time it was open.
I always get them back.

I accidentally deleted violentmonkey so I lost my 4chanxt and stylechan settings ;_;

one time firefox crashed & when i launched it again it restored a completely different session from like a month prior
never figured out why that happened
