why would you need 3 monitors or oled monitor or 55 inch tv screen, when you have a better alternative to consume content

you don't wear glasses but are ok with digging a hole in your head and getting a chip in it?

They aren't good enough yet

I have them, they're a huge waste of money outside the novelty. Text is blurry around the edges of the display. Mirroring your screen feels unnatural because you need to flick your eyes around to see things. If you use floating anchored displays instead, the low pixel density combined with the optics makes everything look even more blurry and smeared.

They might be usable when new displays are available, but all models today use 1080p displays that are ultimately the same.

>Just getting a fucking monitor that JUST WERKS™ without that shit
The nReal (formerly: TwitterReal) is cool and all, but it sucks that you have to jump through so many hoops for it just to do your use case.

Like shit, even the USB-C cable doesn't work on USB-C phones out of box. You have to use their apps AND have a supported phone. What's the fucking point? It's a fucking display "AR" glasses, why can it not use base Android's screen extender/duplication? Same for laptops.

You're already doing that with monitors included your whole face. What's your point?

This is surprisingly the easiest part. There are tons of VR lens companies that will make prescription inserts for all of $50 or so, HONSVR for example.

That's exactly how it works though. Plug your laptop in and it's an extra display with no other features. Been that way since the Nreal Air (they're called Xreal now).

The problem was never how it works; it's always been the optics and display panel still being alpha quality.

I'm personally quite fond of 'dumb' sun glasses that don't feed the Zuck my data so he can buy more Hawaiian islands while kicking out the natives.
They're nice when driving/bike/walking.

I forget BUT don't these things require a USB dongle still or am I thinking of the Lenovo ones?
Could be neat for when I'm at a cafe answering some emails and NOT have to be paranoid about people sitting behind me catching a glimpse of my passwords an what not.
I'm genuinely humoring the idea even if I'd look like a turbo autist.

>Kalergi
Jungle fever does strange things to a man... Or was it the other way around and he's a Nippon who became an honorary Chosenite after marrying a Jewess? That said for all the faults of the EU;SSR Schengen was a genuinely good idea, if only it had remained solely for actual natives however... But ehh at least you can reap the benefits without actually becoming an EU member state, Norway Switzerland did.

I need to revisit the lore...
