What is dire about it?
Defense contractors swim in money. They can produce utter garbage and will still earn billions with it.
Safety is not a consideration for them. Nobody cares about a soldier dying because of his equipment failing. It's part of war and normalized.
In fact, they even claim equipment failures where there are none. It is far less embarrassing to die because of some rare bug in muh state-of-the-art gear than to admit to have gotten killed by a sandal wearing goat herder.
The F-22 with a unit cost of USD 400 million had a complete software crash because its Ada written operating system couldn't deal with a timezone change.
No other branch would accept that. But for the defense industry, this is alright.
I understand why there are Ada (or now Rust) zogbot shills here. Shilling is their thing. They have departments for the purpose of shilling. It's their "informational war".
Shilling for Ada on /g/ is the equivalent of the /meg/ - Military Enlistment General on /k/.
The only jobs you might get with Ada, are defense contractors. They tell you to work for ZOG, without openly saying it out loud.
The problem is that defense contractors don't hire on merit. They are under full DEI influence, nepotism and quotas. You aren't going to get that job anyway, no matter how good you are.
