no actually they are actually bretty gud.. but they aren't worth the MSRP, an, though they are getting better at making them less tacky and i have to say i actually do like them. i'm not even a downright razer hater having used their products a lot in the 2010s, i actually still to this day daily drive a deathadder 2013 with all the rgb stuff disabled. but when it comes to buying their premium shit i just can't justify it, at the end of the day it's razer, it's the same company that makes shit like pic rel. and i'm gonna pay 1.2-5.5k USD for something they make? yeah.. not likely.

Hot take, I like Razer. Their products actually have some sovl.

But yeah the laptops are the same deal as getting a Macbook. Good quality but not enough to justify the price, more of a flex, not really doing anything special.

i bought a razer blade 14 (refurbished) in 2021 and have been using it as my main machine since then. love the way it looks and feels, happy with the track pad, screen, and battery even 4 years later.

my only complaint is the shitty razer software you have to have installed for basic features to work since it shits the bed so often. it was randomly causing screen issues a few months ago that i finally resolved by just re-installing windows. i wouldn't recommend them for that reason alone, not worth the headache if you can find something else with decent build quality that doesn't require this bullshit to be running

once this thing dies i'll look for something i can run linux on (i use WSL on this for some stuff but i think the propreitary razer shit makes it a pain to run linux as the main OS) since i wont be going along with windows 11
