Why do shitholes like this still exist?
>need product today
>only thing on the shelves is DUANGPOOPMEER brand garbage marked up 500%
>store offers to "order" better thing for you
>you could just order yourself in the same amount of time, for less money
>everything it offers inhouse (setting up a sound system, IT, etc) is just nappy headed inner city kids who dont know anything

So people can go look at a box and see the product exists before they purchase it on Amazon.

for as long I remember people only go to best buy to purchase a tv. everything else is an afterthought. I stopped going to best buy because they opened a brandsmart usa here. its like a giant tech wonderland much cooler than microcenter.

Daughter hit the old TV with a plunger kek
The room is 16x23 and I sit 12 feet away. Thought about 115" but it's 12k.

I'm coming from a Samsung qn90b but the qn90f is 12k for 98, 24k for 115 so TCL wins.

It's a better experience for shopping and buying TVs compared to buying blind online. They also offer price matching should it be available cheaper on amazon or wherever. Sometimes they have decent deals on open box items.

i stopped buying tech. it's all goyslop for dumb goyim to make jews richer. TV's especially. they just make stupid goyim fatter and dumber.

i only need a small SBC desktop and a used chinkpad.
i put more SBC's on my network if i want more stuff done.

Get a projector instead if you've got the right environment for it. No apps of any kind. $3k and my picture is something like 175", and when it's off I don't have a giant black rectangle on the wall. >>106869272

When you're older if you save your allowance you'll have a house with more than one room. TV goes in the basement. Upstairs is for living life away from the electric jew.

One time my dad I and were looking at some speakers for the new HDTV and the dumbass/ cool meth smoker put the $2000 7.1 home theater system in our cart and rang it up for $500. That's what Best Buy is for. Fucking up and you walking away with free shit.

I wouldn't order a TV from an online only store. It would 100% come broken and you'd never get a refund.
It's also good for small shit that I need same day, like a phone charger or a usb drive.

If it's on sale at worstbuy it's sometimes good to buy it there. For example, Seagate external drives are often the cheapest there.
Another thing I've used it for is "refurbished" SATA SSD drives. I have no idea what the fuck they do with them, but they only have a few hours of operation on them, and they're cheap.
The ones with a Magnolia AV room are OK.

TLDR Bestbuy is called Worstbuy for a reason, and it should just go die like Circuit City.

Best buy will price match local places on appliances, sometimes including rebates by just slashing them from the price so you get the money instantly instead of in 5 months. If it's a special order item, they can often get it faster. Try finding a higher end dumb fridge without an icemaker. Nobody carries them in stock anymore because most people want their french door machines with their unreliable 5lb a day icemaker as opposed to getting a dedicated countertop or wall mount ice machine.

They're frequently the best place to buy TVs. Walmart has TVs, but they're almost universally bottom tier quality garbage targeted at poor people and retards that think size = picture quality. If you're using soundbars as opposed to a proper speaker setup (which almost everyone is these days), they have by far the widest selection of any major chain. They even have some limited receiver and speaker equipment.

Their phone prices are the same as anywhere else, and they have a reasonable selection. Accessories are often overpriced, but you can walk in and buy something today if you have a relatively recent phone.

If you're an itodler, they sell a wide variety of ipad, and laptop configurations.

Sure, most people on this board would be happier with a microcenter. Best buy isn't aimed at you. It's aimed at Joanne and Jo Blow, who don't really know that much about tech, and who want to get stuff. Geek squad pc diagnosis and repair stuff is priced rather absurdly, but people pay it because they don't know how to do stuff themselves. Much like the majority of this board probably changes someone too much to change their oil or swap their tires.

They have been offering price matching for years now, newfag. Price match with Amazon, Newegg, whatever you want as long as the seller is an authorized retailer.
They still manage to make themselves convenient for small accessories from time to time. People are still buying from them or they would be non-existent, duh.
Now my big gripe with them is that their stupid mobile app is sluggish, buggy, and clunky. Always has been no matter what hardware I run it on, even my old LG K92 and now my Pixel 7 Pro. Pales in comparison to AliExpress, Amazon, and fleaBay in terms of offerings, ease of use, and stability, not to mention features. Their programmers are clearly idiots.

All this
I've bought from best buy more than I thought I ever would.
TVs and monitors are the same price so why bother with the headache of potential returns?
Most of my major PC components have been from BB because it's either the same price or lower and I'd rather do pickup.
