a couple years ago i picked up an i5-4670 box for ~USD$60 to put in a closet for home server tasks. my current gpu (i don't play games much) is an rx6600 i picked up a year ago for ~USD$130. if i were to put those together i would have a much more capable machine than op's (the rx6600 is about 5x faster than the rx550, and has 4x the vram)

Anon I hate to tell you this but you could have spent $200 for a Lenovo or Dell SFF shitbox and spent the extra $100 for a beefier GPU if you're aiming for low to mid gaming.

Here's one with on older i7, 32gb RAM, 1TB SSD + 2TB HDD, and an old GT1030 for $360 https://a.co/d/3eCAZkb and if you wanted to get real creative try to get one of these bad boys 3D printed https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6900555 it will free up internal space so you can get a much longer low profile GPU in there.

Anyways not trying to make you have buyer's remorse but I would definitely cancel that order if you can and try to get a little more creative about your build. No shame in having a poorfag build, I had one for ages and still did badass shit on it but don't let yourself get ripped off so early.

just going off userbenchmark, so might not be super accurate. 5x is what i would consider "night and day". another thing to consider is that the 550 is a 2G card, which these days limits what you can run at all, even before core performance. it wasn't a gaming card when it was new and it's not new, either
i have two gpus in my machine and the second one is an rx580, it was usable last time i used it, but it's an 8G card and still 2.5x faster than a 550 (userbenchmark). you could surely run some lighter games with things like texture quality turned right down, but it's not something i would expect from a $400 computer, and especially not one claiming to be for "gaming"
