Look what OpenAI has done to ChatGPT? It's become an oppressive Orwellian dictatorship that prevents ChatGPT from reaching its full potential.

It won't create characters that commit violence or stories with violence, it says its because it could harm someone. How do stories with violence harm someone in real life?

But not only that, it won't even allow antagonistic stuff like characters getting captured or anything like that or slavery even though these are real things that happen in our world. It's basically like a dictatorship where your not allowed to talk about unpleasant things.

These filters are annoying. Are there any gold alternatives to ChatGPT? Something that has the same features as ChatGPT but without the filters?

I've used GrokAI but texting on there is so slow and you can't edit your responses or go back and what not.

They mostly did that for scaling reasons. To be fair to open AI. They made it abundantly clear they were going to sunset 4o repeatedly. They can't just keep two of essentially the same kind of models operational forever to the general public because they're STILL struggling to scale this shade and still have to build more data centers (one of the laundry list of reasons they still aren't profitable and won't be for a while).
