As someone who's been a lifelong android user, I'll probably get the 17 pro max after I start my new job. The 17PM's efficiency, battery life and performance is just generations ahead of what Samsung has/will have

I use a carbon fibre armored case on my S24 ultra. The UAG premium cases are invincible. My phone has survived a fall from an 8 foot ladder unscathed due to those crazy corner bumpers.

Why do people care what the back of the phone looks like if any sensible person covers it? Only apple users care about pretty and exposed phones because they are 13 year old girls or closeted homosexuals, and they all have cracked screens within 6 months. The east indian man at the phone repair store in the mall loves apple users for this reason.

I am a contractor and use my phone camera dozens of times a day to log deficiencies from my subcontractors and other shit. Mining, power plants, lift stations. But even people who dont need a durable case benefit from one with normal day to day wear and tear.

Sometimes I wonder why I switched.

I used to have a Pro, and even the so-called gimmicks like the depth sensor turned out useful, I’d measure furniture in seconds.
The other day I pulled out my Android, typed “measure,” and just standed there like an idiot before realizing it’s not built in.

Now while traveling, every country has its own transport apps, so I figured I’d make a custom homescreen that activates automatically when GPS detects my location.
Turns out Android has no brains-off and free equivalent to Apple Shortcuts. You can’t even create separate homescreen pages to hide or show.

Each have their pros and cons, iPhone just being "status symbols" is wrong, it is true I feel like a poorfag now though.
