Well, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold should show up here by Friday. Kind of neat that its the first major foldable that has a glass main display pic related. Also the Qi2 / Pixelsnap stuff seems nice, and I'm looking forward to better control and support for the OS, custom ROMs (grapheneOS, Lineage etc. Its a pity DivestOS is no longer updated) Tmo rep told me that as soon as I comes in they'll unlock it (carrier unlock and bootloader) given how long my account has been with them. I've got 14 days to figure out if I want to keep it, and if it looks shitty I'll probably swap it for a standard Pixel 10 Pro or something.

Anyone have suggestions for cases or screen protectors? I hear that DBrand's Ghost 2.0 case is solid but sadly only the more armored Grip Case seems to have a Pixel 10 Pro Fold version, not the Ghost. Screen protector wise they have the Prism 2.0 tempered glass ones, but not sure if there's anything meaningfully different for high end glass protectors these days. WhitestoneDome used to be the best of the best becuase it had a UV adhesive thing adn worked for curved displays, but they haven't updated for the past couple of generations of Pixels.

One of the better FOSS F-Droid apps I've found and it has several built in alternative repos besides just plain F-Droid, like IzzyOnDroid or some of the app-hosted custom repos (ie NewPipe has their own FDroid repo before it gets to the main one etc) etc, already pre-loaded and you just need to toggle them on

You probably don't need both Tubular and PipePipe alongside NewPipe but check ou some of their features and decides which works best for you

Also don't forget NewPipe and its forks don't just support YouTube, but the incredibly based alternative PeerTube fediverse platform. Pick whatever servers you wish - it comes with the default framatube instance, but you can add any others.
