GNU pass
https://www.passwordstore.org
tldr;
encrypted with gpg, sync with git, use with terminal or any of the front ends
I use this on my Apple machines with a git repo on my server and I'm very happy with it
KeePassXC is OK alternative but the front ends suck

Notepad. ctrl+f, ctrl+c, ctrl+v.

Password managers just put everything in the same convenient attack vector. May as well just use browser autocomplete, exact same thing.

having all your passwords in one place has never sounded like a good idea to me
I'd rather just reset the few I don't remember

An attack vector, which if done correctly, will have to defeat cryptography. Unlike your plaintext notepad.

Or nothing to protect if you're using that scheme. Compromise of one is then compromise of all. Might as well not bother using a password and just let everyone use it.

There is no safe password manager, the only password manager/software that is safe and good is the one you write from scratch, preferable using your own language, compiler, encryption, os, cpu, instruction set and hardware.

>will have to defeat cryptography.
>implying it wasn't defeated already
If you really think most password managers aren't pozzed by CIA backdoors/honeypotted out the ass then you might be retarded.
