They have done a handful of positive things like enhancing workers and renters rights but overall it's been messy. Honestly their biggest problem seems to be completely ignoring any criticism and going "nuuur, your wrong it's your your own good", ultimately I hope they dump starmer and find someone with backbone and direction who dosen't suck off corpos so much.
The Chagos islands thing was initiated by the tories too, it's taken them years to negotiate it. OSA was originally a tory policy though I do agree that labour made it worse with their amendments.
And dealing with immigration is... huge, tories couldn't do it, reform won't be able to do it. Dealing with the current state of illegal immigration requires a massive coordinated effort with something of the scale of europol or interpol to take out the massively powerful organised gangs enabling it (besides the boats thing is a tiny fraction, like 2-4%?)
