I've been here over 20 years, moderation went to complete shit when this retard took control. Mods will ban you for the flimsiest possible reasons just because they got mad, and there's no recourse unless you want to go suck dicks on IRC. The whole push to make mods publicly identifiable and send their fucking IDs in to be allowed to moderate brought in only the worst possible mods you could ever have.

The only good thing about the mods here is that they're barely active and mostly lazy. Literally all they need to do is range ban spergs after giving them a few warnings, and remove illegal content, but instead they ban actual users for using no-no words and leave the paid advertisement threads alone.

I agree with him, I got banned because some discord server lead by some SEA Bara faggots where mass reporting Japanese artists to cancel them and they perceived I was one as well. I wrote a quick script to write appeals once daily and the ban was lifted as soon as it somehow reached a human instead of a bot, several months later.

I went to the IRC and was polite as can be. The faggot YourNameHere ignores all my questions and straight threatens to extend my ban because hes a worthless power tripping faggot.
Ever since then I totally gave up on ever approaching the moderation team on anything on this site. I just ban evade and I share the knowledge to others on how to.

My SINGULAR good experience with 4chan mods was like 5 years ago where I was banting a bit on /vp/. The janny gave me a warning with a kind thoughtful message along the lines of "please try to keep conversations thoughtful and engaging". No actual suspension. Once I viewed it, it was gone.

Years ago I tried to start a tournament on /vr/ with actual cash prizes. I had the money, and time to deal with it, all people had to do was record and post a video of their gameplay submissions. I'd accept videos uploaded just about anywhere, as long as there was no ads.
Came back the next day to find I had gotten a week ban for trying to get /vr/ to play retro videogames. Reason given was Spamming. One thread, one post. Spamming. I stopped trying to make positive contributions to the board after that. These days the board is /v/2.0 but only for games 20+ years old, and I only stick in the DOS threads since they seem to be the last threads without retarded /v/irgins screaming about how popular game X sucks ass.
