Crazy that bugs like this still exist in Linux after all these years. Windows 11 and MacOS work right. No one will ever make an OS that works right without begging you to log in.

It's Linux, so there is probably a way to disable it. Meanwhile if you dislike a UI feature on Mac or Windows you're SOL, because it's part of their "brand image" and can't be changed.

This feature is meant for users with poor eye sight. It is like the feature in mobile phones which turns on flashlight by shaking the phone twice.
