A huge portion of jobs in corpo land are clerical, information logistics (how info is collected, concentrated, and formatted into something usable) has been as “real” in impact as anything else for centuries. It became less valid with the internet, and even more so with LLMs, but there’s a reason all those positions existed to begin with. My father’s an electrical engineer at Boeing, has been for over 20 years. my job is not fake, I make the company save a lot of money and resources, and make sure our product will work properly. the issue is: our product is completely unnecessary and we meme people into thinking they need it. The job of everyone at the company is not real technically.

Fraud is profitable, so people WILL use LLMs to do deflect blame from themselves.

In principle, nobody "needs" an accountant at all.
A spreadsheet will do just fine, or an abacus, or just do it in your head bro.
The reason the job exists at all is because of fraudsters and information standardization, and government regulations to enforce it.

The Courts will either throw it out and hold AI accountants in contempt, or they will allow AI companies to be sued into oblivion and nonexistence.
