Does it really need about 1500$/month to operate a site like Catbox? Whenever I see the financial requirements of server owners, I ask myself if a lot of the budget is really needed.
>Datacenter Colocation: $1090/month
>Upgrades/Hardware Maintenance: $100/month
>Offsite Storage: $200/month
>Cloud Server Providers: $40/month
>Administrative Costs: $60/month
>Total Monthly Costs: $1,490
(https://catbox.moe/support.php)
Yes, I do operate a VPS as well, but I only spend like 3$/month, so 100-200x the amount should be doable for serving static files, even at a high volume (terabytes of traffic/day). It's not like you're resolving complex database queries for hundreds or thousands of clients at once.
