then sure i would pay more to get phone that can play video on small laptop sized screen
still would wait for lower shelf phones to cath up and would pick up one with lowest spec (just for screen)

It hits -20C yearly here; I've had my Z Fold 3 for over 3 years and it never cracked, just needed a new screen protector here and there. I bought this phone expecting screen protectors to be like oil changes in a car, just regular maintenance. Keep up on it and you're set.
