I've had like 10 fillings in the last 5 years. Just make sure to get a checkup once a year and you can get fillings. They're way easier than other dental operations like root canals and extractions so it's worth it to stay on top of your checkups. Worst part is the anesthetic needle, but it doesn't always hurt. Top gums barely feel anything, bottom ones can depend, from no feeling to fairly unpleasant but it's over fast.

Those fall out eventually you know, and they have to make the hole bigger to put new ones in. Any tooth with a new filling will have to be pulled in about 20 years.
