It runs fine on my 8th gen intel thinkpad which is about the oldest hardware you can run it on. You can switch to a local account easily on Pro, don't know about Home. I don't really care about the context menu, actually kind of like it. If you really hate it so much there's a workaround.

I mainly use linux but use windows at work and dual boot for fortnite, and whenever i do it encounter weird issues. At come certain windows open in wron workspaces. Sometimes audio stops working when i plug and unplug muy headphones. Idk tons of weird stuff. 10 wasnt good but it was better

An OS is not an email account, it's supposed to be local and NOTHING ELSE. There is zero reason for it to require you to log in every time at startup.

Well yes I agree that older chips should be able to run it but they're not officially supported. And they have their security reasons for that, some feature that's only present in 8th gen intel and later and 2nd gen ryzen and later.

You're not required to login to your Microsoft account at every startup, only on the initial installation, after which you can switch entirely to a local account.

Ok if the context menu is such a deal breaker for you then whatever but it's weird to say that Windows 11 is the worst thing ever because of this small difference that can be changed.

The "security reasons" are just Microsoft being lazy and having a convenient excuse in "oh the old systems don't have TPM 2.0 sorry guys". I don't mind windows, I still use it (10 LTSC) but they showed with Win11 in what direction they want to go and this time it's not only privacy schizos complaining, more and more people are annoyed and this is just 11, try to imagine how 12 will be. I was using deboated versions of Windows my entire life, then debloated LTSB/LTSC. Win 10 LTSC 2021 is the most usable, stable and clean version to date.
