Higher level trackers need new blood dripped at a slow enough pace, none of them can survive with absolutely no new users.
Since the two music trackers are becoming full and they stop accepting new users who are also aiming for other trackers, it's going to cause the higher level trackers to starve.
To act against this problem they have several options

Yes smart people use a password manager but most people that end up joining open signup trackers are not smart. Same with the email, most of these people do not use a throwaway/spam email. For a given torrent, the protocol uses a tit-for-tat heuristic.
During the leech phase, it tries to upload to a limited number of other peers (the initial design specified 4 upload slots), to the ones which also upload to yourself at the highest speed.
