why would anyone buy a gaming pc at a "toy store". toy stores have everything at ripoff prices including toys. i remember trying to buy a dreamcast at kb toys and it was always more expensive than gamestop/eb games.

Anonymous No.106994688 [Report] >>106994699
>>106994181
Look, heres the point. You bought a PC, which according to the ad, doesn't actually tell you much about the PC at all. A ryzen 5? Is that a 1400 or 9600? So where in between? "4gb graphics"? You don't even know what manufacturer that is. This is similar for everything it's advertising

If your are just lay person and don't care, then I guess whatever, but I read articles of people getting essentially scammed like this, because they see an ad that is true, but gives them so little information about the actual versions of what they are getting, and it turns out to be junk from a decade ago.

I'm normally patient with people when it comes to buying computers and prebuilts, but you are asking on what you should expect from the system you just bought. You clearly took no time to research what you are looking for in a system or what it is you even bought like some cattle, I'd suggest you refund the item and take some time to actually look for a decent deal since pic rel is objectively dogshit.

It's sold in a toy store to parents who likely don't have a clue about the cost of components or how to build a system themselves. And with the kids sold on the flashy LED box, they'll get the wallet out thinking they're getting a decent PC when all they're buying is 5 year out of date tech that'll play Fortnite or Minecraft at medium settings.

What perplexes me is how often they have ancient hardware that isn't even supplied anymore.
Usually any prebuilt trying to screw you would atleast have the common courtesy to give you something supported and supplied, even if it's an old chip just rebranded (GT 730 for example)
Not only is the GPUs you see low end but often properly EoL and not meant to be sold.
Either there is alot of low end GPUs that never got installed in a card and this is just some way to use them or they are actual used/salvaged pieces of hardware and it's such a large operation that it's infecting proper retail channels.
I'm surprised they are even using semi-current CPUs and not just using hobbled together LGA2011 boards with xeons with some bios fuckery to make them say i7/i9 in windows.

I know in extreme poverty places like India, some of the popular PCs being sold as new was core 2s which all have to be used even if the motherboard is new

first of all kill yourself for being ESL, second OP clearly got scammed with the PC in pic rel and should refund the system. Even if he isn't very knowledgeable of computers he is very likely to find a better system for around the same price or even cheaper (assuming he used second hand parts) on sites like Ebay or even Amazon. Hell he can build a better system himself even with the shit pricing and availability in Europe.

Provided OP reads this I genuinely wish he consider refunding the system and talk to someone in his area who is more knowledgeable on computers to help build him a system as what you bought in pic rel is a scam of a system. Unless he posts the full specs of the system when he gets it delivered I will be inclined to believe that it's a shit PC.

I'd say, if it's not too late, to cancel your order ask for a refund.
I've seen a similar build computer on amazon for like £300 (or a more up to date one for about 6-700).

Oh boy.. Anon this PC wont be very good for gaming. I don't recognize that GPU which means it's not meant for gaming. Ryzen 5 could ve anything but even if it's the first gen it will be fine as long as you have a goos GPU. 16 GB is still fine if you plan using something like Arch Linux. I would strongly recommend that you cancel this order as it's really not worth it. You will regret the performance. It's way too expensive for what only i can imagine it offers..

financial literacy... i hope you study this subject immediately.
i can spend 9k up front on investment, 800 on payment, i will make way more money in 12mo than buying outright.
that's also ignoring the fact that you get a device for $0 upfront, which you can use to make money. dummy...

i make 120k USD per year in USA midwest. if that's poor then OK i'm poor. but i keep $3500/mo after tax after bills (including mortgage). $3500 per month kept for myself to do whatever. i could pay the 10k in under three months. but why would i. i keep 10k and pay 800 out of the surplus 3500 per month. why throw 10k at it immediately??? 0% APR means i can do 800/mo and make money with the rest invested.... not a hard math equation, but seems tough for you. i hope you stop being retarded ASAP for your own sake.
