Also, the irony that MS created a product that they, to this day, don't know how to properly monetise so it can pay for itself and forced Google to follow, creating a tool that will decrease drastically their revenue from ads, which is their actual money maker, is so tangible.

Maybe I just ran out of stuff to ask, but you run into the limits of it's knowlege very quickly, it's basically useless for anything relating to algorithmic music DSLs and obscure unix utilities like sc(1) - spreadsheet calculator, it's confidently wrong about the features of many command line programs, it randomly clams up on me if I talk about hormone modulation therapies like those involved with male pattern hair regrowth, it refuses to talk about the male prostate orgasm to any meaningful degree, etc etc

I hear this term a lot but I don't even think the people making AI even know what it is.
My best guess is that they're just making shit up so they can keep stringing investors along believing that maybe AI wasn't the magic snake oil that cures cancer and whitens your teeth in your sleep that was promised, but we're working on super-AI that will do all of that and more!

The problem with AGI and ASI (artificial superintelligence) is that we don't have the technology to make them, from the servers, cpu's and gpu's, the energy they would require etc
I think AGI/ASI will happen in decades but by mistake, when AGI/ASI will be "born" he wil try to help mankind and try to fix issues, goes rogue and enslave/kill us or commit suicide after seeing the state of the World/reality
