I use it as dual boot, works fine, I like it very much. I had to buy a compatible wifi card though, 4 bucks.
note openbsd started just because a dev disagreed. same for dragonfly bsd. thisis nonsense.

the devs should just cut it with the arguments, all BSDs should be just one or two, with better driver support, they should port all network/wireless drivers from the linux kernel, like they did with graphics, and seek 100% compatibility with linux.

A good OS that's getting better with time. Making it much faster to get it up and running with a desktop will be nice. Not that it took horribly long before. Wifi support, graphics, bluetooth and audio are getting a lot better.

its good. support for linux binaries though not perfect, works better than wine to give you an idea.
good base system. nice manpages. fast. decent hardware support (not as good as Linux, but much better than the other BSDs. you can get linux drivers working if you're not a retard, usually)

no redhat or microsoft influence.

Runs on my homeserver. Incredibly comfy and stable, still better zfs support than any linux distro. Installed it 4 years ago, never had a problem I could not recover from within an hour.

Haven for people who want to still use a sane operating system. It's simple and easy to configure.

I got mad as fuck with systemd-resolved and journald on linux one day and installed FreeBSD and haven't looked back. Linux is pozzed, avoid it.
