I have found that ideas evolve through inpainting itself.
One useful technique it's inpaint at lower res without hires fix. Smaller canvas means faster resampling and quicker iteration.
Example: I genned a character where one leg came out larger than the other. When I rerolled that leg, one of the 4 gens gave me a completely different pose, and that unexpected result give me a new idea that changed my entire composition
This is why inpainting for me it's exploring rather than fixing, because it lets you improvise and compose iteratively, you are not correcting mistakes but navigating possibilities and discovering your final image through the process. Each inpaint is a chance to pivot, refine, or stumble onto something better or different than originally imagined.

Yes, but I realized that people who gen well in Neta Lumina always hide their prompts and never tell you how to do it or share raw files with metadata. Which gives me the impression that they use it as a base model and then inpaint on top. If it is because of 2 characters, WAI15, OneObsesion or Prefect Ilustrious v4 are pretty good at that without tag bleeding and with fewer errors than Neta Lumina.

What Neta Lumina has is maybe "another way" of reasoning or seeing things that gives the sensation of something new and fresh, so I see why people support it.

On Civit pages I know Noob and Illustrious models have specific order to rearrange tags, and if you are happy with your result I am glad but it is good that you know that. If you like building workflows, you will have a great time experimenting with hires fix, inpainting, outpainting, ControlNet, or Adetailer.
Personally, I stopped using ComfyUI and switched to Swarm for this exact reason. I am not a fan of the whole workflow setup. I find it distracting and it takes me away from actually genning images. But I understand there are people who lean more toward curiosity about how things work and enjoy the problem solving process involved in building these systems.

Neta Lumina is an extremely green model. Its strength in backgrounds and scene composition might be because it has not been overtrained on "1girl" prompts like 99% of SDXL models tend to be. This makes it hard for me to evaluate Neta Lumina objectively. It could easily pass for a regular SDXL model that just happens to not be as "1girl oriented" at this stage of development.

That said, I would still recommend giving it a try and exploring what it can do. Sometimes you will get interesting results. From my experience, the hires fix is not predictable.
