I've been interested in maturing my wildcarding system for a while but never bothered to invest any time. I typically just slap together a bunch of inline wildcards and then forget about them when I move onto the next thing. last files I made were csvs a while ago for the csv wildcard node

i use separate wildcard files (not yaml). i found yaml too tedious to update and get it to work with combinations right. its pretty much teh same format when you use it in a prompt either way

i'll upload my xl omniprompt shit to github eventually. need to make sure the repo won't dox me, etc. yaml is fucking awesome. you can do json too (if you're a crazy person, or idk generating shit on-the-fly). idk why i didn't think of using Augmentcode before, but i had terrible duplication issues due to file pollution and simple repetion, so telling it to "refactor @std/xl/whatever using composable wildcard subcategories" works just like refactoring a codebase.
