As you can see, using the watermark remover fucks up what are supposed to be straight lines. So you really need to model hop until you find a model that doesn't generate them. Usually negs don't help. The best shitmixes are retrained on material with the matermarks removed. Or remove the watermarks with a more sophisticated software like Photoshop or Krita. For the face and hands do a hires fix with denoise 0.25-0.4 on the ENTIRE image, if it's still fucked, get a better model. It's possible yours was trained on images all normalized to the same size with a blurry bilinear scaler. Note the upscale latent node in comfy doesn't accomplish a hires, you need to vae decode, scale in image space with a GAN scaler, and vae encode. Otherwise you'll need very high denoise to undo the latent scaling artifacts which will cause extra noses and belly buttons to get generated at high canvas sizes, also the character of the line art will be affected, usually less bold. Finally if you must fix something anyway, just inpaint manually or shoop it the old fashioned way. The automated tools cause way more harm than good.

This is what I get with hiresfix, so I've never used it. Instead I gen the base image, upscale it and then use img2img with denoise at .34 and cfg at 5.

Never tried soft inpaint, generally what I do is increase the blur zone to a maximum of 6 or 8. Soft inpaint seems to have too many sliders to configure.

I still use noobai and flux for precise mask inpaint.
Qwen , even with lanpaint mask, is too quirky, sometimes works , sometimes doesn't.(need to experiment more).

You can regen clips at 5 sec intervals, so it's pretty convenient.

Big downside, it starts from the last 5 sec video frame, so if for example, the character turned her head, her face will be completely different if she turns back again in the next clip!

There's no 'buffer' for details /characters.

Inpainting halos aren't really something you can prevent with gen settings. They just happen.
You just need to look for them and remove them with an image editor. You can't really inpaint them out since that will just replace them with new halos.
In inpaint halo is a "halo" around the edges of your inpaint that does not seamlessly blend with the rest of the image. It is most easily seen when you inpaint around a character with a flat color background behind them.

CFG scale might be too high. He might be stacking multiple LoRAs which is usually a bad idea. He might just be using a single LoRA and either using it at too high of a strength or it's just a bad LoRA.
These are the things that generally cause deep fried gens.

The more LoRAs you stack, the more the weights need to be reduced.

Wrong. If it was fried, there would be saturation clipping and other artifacts. This is just stylistic choice. You can adjust vibrance/saturation/blue level in the image editor to your liking. If it was fried, you wouldn't be able to do that because clipping artifacts cannot be undone with simple slider adjustment.

Idk 90 to 100? With clipping, whether it's saturation or brightness, the main indicator is that you can't dial down saturation or brightness without causing visible color banding artifacts. For example if most pixels in your image are in 230-255 value range (overkill example) and you don't like how the image looks, if you try to expand the dynamic range by remapping it to 0-255 in an image editor, you will get severe color banding because pixel values will be jumping in strides of 10 instead of smooth transitions.

The rule is a bit hard to apply to flat-color image, since no matter how large some part of hair is that is at 95, as long as it is flat color, there can't be a high-frequency information loss.
But I'll give you that blue graph is not nice if you don't like blue color as much as image's author. If you REALLY dislike it and try to adjust it too much, you will get problems because of the thing I mentioned above (most pixels are clustered in 200-255 range for blue channel).

You'd have to take metadata and test it. From my experience? It's rarely frying from cfg that causes the image to be... too blue. Instead it makes colors all over the place. Usually the culprit would be artist tags or loras. And even then, I'm not talking about frying from too many loras stacked at too high strength - that also looks different with way more artifacts present.
