Every single attempt they've made at doing anything gaming related has always flopped and lost them money. The closest they can get is shipping some stupid middleware like "Game Center" app. Their graphics APIs are also hot garbage and not stable long term.

It's actually the biggest "gotcha" of all time because you don't know shit about the history of computing. Most of the features you consider essential on a desktop or laptop today came from servers and HPC. Networking, 3D graphics, solid state storage and all kinds of other features didn't come from IBM PCs or compatibles.

Android, Chromebooks, System76 and Dell workstations, Raspberry Pi are all examples of wildly successful consumer products that run on Linux.

If you only play singleplayer then literally any GNU/+Linux distro.
If you only play multiplayer, specifically Riot-slop, then Windows 11, just right click on Copilot > Uninstall.
