How is using chrome the smart option? You get a worse adblocker and you help lock in googles monopoly on the internet. The smart option is to use Firefox or safari so that google doesn't eventually make the entire internet into an ad platform.

I use Chrome on my desktop and Brave on my laptop. Honestly both are pretty fast and good for every day use, but Brave's default ad-block probably gives it an edge.

I am the widwit. With manifest V3 and finger printing different browsers have different uses. Depends what OS you are using though. Microsoft is pure fingerprinting, I am still learning android and do not have the time to tinker in linux but I learn bits along the way. You can now only get certain extensions on other browsers that are not chrome. Google should really calm down on the whole turn everything into a revenue stream stuff. Not everyone knows how to use an ad blocker anyway.

I use Brave right now because it was actually enticing when I first started using it and the negatives were never really enough to make me consider switching. Now I'm thinking about switching to ungoogled chromium though. Is it gonna be as simple as I'm assuming it will be or am I going to have any problems I'm not having on Brave? Would all my extensions work? The only extensions I use is Tampermonkey, uBlock Origin, Return Youtube Dislike and SponsorBlock.
