The problem with AI-animated anime is that we're used to seeing anime animated on the 3's.
It looks creepy/wrong/uncanny valley when the AI animates it too smoothly.
Then, when it DOES animate it similar to animating on the 3's, it somehow just doesn't look like human animation on the 3's. It looks choppier and just wrong.

It depends what you use it for, never used Photoshop so I do not know what tools I would be missing that Krita does not have. At least there is this Vision Tools extension,https://github.com/Acly/krita-vision-tools which is a pretty powerful automatic segmenter.
And I think in the filters tab it has options to do some kind of ControlNet type layer more powerful than Swarm (I think) would need to test this though.
If you use Swarm you can use that same Comfy instance for Krita.

With vision tools you can select just the hair and cape and gen movement. I selected the ground and removed it, made a new layer and genned a dragon, then expanded the dragon's back so the character could fit, blended both layers. Gen still needs way more hours but Krita's possibilities made me think outside the WebUI box

It's like a more elaborate Inpaint Sketch since you're using fragments of the original image as a guide to fill the space, but for this I'm thinking to move the dragon's back upward to fill that gap. Post-A1111 webuis are kind of a mess of forks and different abandoned projects. Comfy is awful as an UI but it's consistently maintained and gets everything ASAP while Forge forks have to get shit ported on them and there's no guarantee that some extension or feature will work on (You)r preferred version.
I'm sticking to reforge because I'm not really interested in new shit (I'm pretty much just using sdxl models and NAI), but for vidgen and newest models Comfy is the only way.

comfy is more or less the opposite. You copy/paste someone else's workflow and just go with it(and hope you didn't just get malware'd).
also pancho kind of really fucked up on the later reforge commits which means if you want to use it without that bullshit you'll need to do specific pulls to get it running and that adds a layer of resistance to using it.

first off, i didn't start /adt/. i just like this general and chose to bake after previous baker stopped
i see /adt/ as the general for sfw gens and discussion. pretty much every other ai general seems to be focused on nsfw or theme(e.g /vtai/)
