So apparently

Nvidia was backdoored by some IT spook who presumably is either dead or fled to Macao China around 2018ish. "AI" was more than likely used before it was even a topic on the internet. Fed and spooks say John Westbrook kidnapped his daughter Daphne Westbrook, national news worth a google search that led to a dead end. Around the same time the United States had a few spooks killed (https://thehill.com/policy/national-security/575384-cia-admits-to-losing-dozens-of-informants-around-the-world-nyt/) because of this backdoor manipulation, Nvidia takes off years later, and now "AI" is everywhere

Eh..
Feds do some weird shit but I doubt they had the technology that advanced to be generating photorealistic AI slop that well. You might be overestimating how intelligent feds are

They pluck out the smartest people in the world from university, and set them to work with an unlimited budget. "Feds" means a lot more than just your local FBI agent.

Even still, it took corporate and research 6-10 years to get it where it is today.
Even if the feds have the smartest people and an unlimited budget, they would have to have been working on this starting 2012, tops
Thinking back to 2012, I don't there would have been the hardware to chug anything slop-worthy out

You are such a retard. Generative AI existed way before Microsoft decided normalfaggots like you should cream their pants over it.

Me too. It's a good mental exercise but in the end, there's really nothing to discuss

AI isn't worth shit today. Who are you trying to fool pretending it was photorealistic in 2018?
>>107056374
Oh of course, it's yet another thinly veiled aijeet shartup thread.

most people on this board overestimate how intelligent they are, especially when they're trying to analyse a photograph of the real world but their entire spatial logic has been deformed by solitude and a life time of staring at two-dimensional screens and people, coupled with a brutally internalized and narcissitic psychology.

Thanks for reposting, I often think about this.
When I originally saw it on /pol/ at first I dismissed it as schizo nonsense, but after looking at some details like the hair it made me doubt a little bit. Back then the most advanced thing the public had access to very low res and special purpose like generating faces.
The fact that just a few years later everybody has access to tech that could make those pictures makes me doubt even more.

And yet people were making this claim back then (I'm not sure it was in 2018 or when, but certainly before ChatGPT).

what model?
with what hardware (reliant AI needs high FP4 precision, first really introduced with Blackwell)? quantization?
Anonymous No.107056920 [Report]
all of the ideas used in generative AI are like a hundred years old at this point. we just had to wait for compute capacity in the public sector to catch up is all. t. actually went to college and actually can read and actually can research stuff.

I dont know if its because I'm ESL but I dont understand this post.

Whats the conspiracy here? AI existed before it was made publicly available? What does it have to do with the girl in the pictures?

do u really think the public can access the best of what's out there at any given time?
