But they do emit blue light which causes permanent vision damage
Anonymous No.107067525 [Report]
My dumbass underestimated how massive these larger crts are. I picked up a Sony Trinitron KV-FS16 recently and that shift legitimately blew my back out. 220lbs of CRT goodness. Ordered the remote and plan to calibrate it this weekend.

Couldnt be me, I have an eyecare certified screen that emits low blue light, doubt CRT's are eyecare certified tho

>>107067684
I haven't used a crt in 20 years, so idk
I always carry a pair in my jacket though

I have a lot of years looking at screens, and also, some specific blue light looks really blurry to me. Take that as you will

>What do you think cataracts is
Accumulated damage from UV light.
UV light is not blue light.
Screens do not emit UV light.

my 29inch sony sucks about 150w during normal usage. Gonna guess this 37incher would be at least 250w. Still less than my 50inch plasma during 3D playback.
