Now tabs yeah, I like 'em vertical, but not like this. I wanna see the favicons when I'm not hovering over them.
So what I'm saying is that Zen is retarded and can't beat Tree Style Tab with a few CSS rules.

Not like I can know if this is exactly the case but it also happened with other FF forks I tried, weirdly enough. So not sure if it's just LibreWolf devs being incompetent again or just generic forks annoying issues

I have been for a while now. Switched over from Vivaldi because Chrome was shitting itself on YouTube.
I like it but there are still a few subtle differences that I liked in Vivaldi but in using Zen's dev builds their updates have been satisfying some of those.

Yeah. Decent pace imo. It's a little frustrating on Dev when fixed bugs regress, happens enough for me to notice but they seem to be working things out over time which is nice.

Likely but I hope not.
I'm hoping Andreas' project Ladybird has some impact of the browser ecosystem.
I'd love real competition in the browser space. Maybe some funding and developers. But just a hope.
Would be nice to see users and developers actually giving a shit about browsers again instead of everyone being content with Chrome and sometimes Gecko.

Most all ff forks including librewolf now have built in vertical tabs, the zen browser devs are enormous faggots that stuffed the browser with telemetry for a long while (even claiming it was 100% necessary) until people made enough of a stink about it and removed it with ease, so they were just pretending to be retarded. A lot of the zen mods offer major qol improvements, but break frequently and get abandoned. It isn't any faster than any other fork of FF either.

Its basically just a skin at this point. Thats literally it.

How is it out of the box? Since it's based on Firefox, would there be a usecase for a "user.js" or any precautionary actions on setting up a profile, about:configs, and/or anything else before using it? Or should I just try it out in a random VM build and see how I like it from there? UI looks like ass to me but I'm always interested in trying out browsers that end up having decent features or pretaining to privacy. Never know when something shits the bed and you need a back up browser for whatever random case comes up. Also I've seen people talk about Floorp more here lately, I've never used that one either. Any better than Zen or should I just not waste any time with any of this shit and keep on with LibreWolf as far as a modern browser goes?

>Why aren't you using zen browser?
I will absolutely, 100% not use any browser pushed by thread retards that take on retarded aggressive rhetoric like "why aren't you using X"

You had one chance to make a sale, and you blew it.

This is a really pathetic way for someone trying to convince other people to use his browser to act.

You don't need any custom tweaks, all the settings are in the menus. Install it on a vm. Enable 'only sidebar' and compact mode. Click the + icon in the sidebar to add folders and drag your tabs into them to save. Though it's better to have them sync to save your tabs to recover them if your computer ever bricks itself or you lose your profile. I think you can just copy the .var/app/zen folder to a backup to be safe, it contains profiles.

>syncing
surely anons dont. I only use firefox forks because it's the easiest to backup and migrate with its about:profiles folders. Was trying to backup my brave without its sync too, and couldn't find a way to migrate everything, session buddy saves history so that's good enough.
