If your goal is to make an encode that is transparent to the source, especially if you are encoding live action content, especially if it's grainy, HEVC does not perform much better than H264 at 1080P unless you use a similar bitrate. Search in the RED forums, it's there somewhere. There's basically a collector of Japanese music who has made hundreds, if not thousands of 100% perfect CD rips of Japanese albums, which he uploaded to a mega.nz for everyone to download. Many people uploaded those to different trackers like RED and AB to reach a certain user class. But I think he's continually adding stuff, so you shouldn't run out. He's also on JPS, sadly I don't remember his correct name, something like voodoojunky

It's very easy to get onto HDB via BTN. You can rank up very easily by farming one or two shows for upload snatches. It works best with weekly shows or sports.

Just download 500-1000 shows from BTN, and 5000-10000 films from PTP and even if they are down for a year or indefinitely, you won't care not being on HDB or KG or whatever.

Wow. They are paranoid. I failed the interview because I had studied the material and had left the window open on my ipad mini. The interviewer asked me if I had cheated and I said no, he declined based on cheating but didn't elaborate. A day later I used the ipad again and noticed sure as shit I had the training page opened.

I got pretty pissed at the time, but now I've been on PTP, BTN and OPS for a good number of years and I have zero interest to join RED when all of the RED torrents are on OPS and I've got plenty of torrents on OPS that I've made, they are niche-ish so afaik they aren't on RED.

How come when I add a torrent to my client the internet for my entire house goes down? I don't do much torrenting anymore but this wasn't happening a few years ago. I don't see that many peers when I look through the stats and I have my DL throttled. This happens on several different versions of windows and I primarily add torrents via magnet urls.

If you're not on HDB and want to join there through RED, maybe. You must fulfil some extra requirements there, like ETM or 3 years account age. Also when you apply for user invites, ETMs will have a higher chance of scoring
