Literally the only reason not to use MP4 is because you can not figure out what codec is allowed on 4chan.

It is unreal how shit WebM was for anything and a 20+ year old codec is superior!

Motion JPEG is really where it’s at.

you can only post H.264 in MP4 here though, which isn't as efficient as VP9, so it's only really useful here to repost files already in that format. if you need to transcode it, then you should use VP9

If webm allowed h264 it would be better
Mp4 sucks ass as a container but it has better codec support.
