I got you anon
This is Emmanuele Bassi, one of the maintainers of either GNOME or GTK, im still not sure what relation these two things have to do with one another, but whatever
his github username as customary takes first letter of the first name and last name, which results in "ebassi" which is funny and sounds like ebussy (internet meme that is comprised of making portmanteaus with the word "pussy", like boy + pussy = bussy (gay man ass))
he's known for condescending arrogant snarky replies to gitlab issues where users express desire for certain features to be implemented in GTK, to which he dismisses them and says "What's the use case?"
one time a GTK / GNOME user complained that all the text looks blurry after an update. This valid factoid was met with passive-aggressive bitching from ebussy and other individuals, particularly ebassi said "What makes you think sharpness is a metric?"
a guy with much more patience for open source autismos than i have, later came in and explained in great detail and in polite manners what the issue is, and i think they actually had a nice conversation and possibly fixed the problem. But the initial response of incredible arrogance and dismissal is funny (to make fun of)
Notable quote also ascribed to him but was actually said by some other faggot: "This discussion is getting heated, I recommend slowing down".
Anyway, use case for this thread?
