>Omissions
-9800X3D: Not usually a significant improvement over a 7800X3D in gaming
-3060: Contrast pricing with 2070 (similar performance, 8gb) and 2080ti
-7700: Region dependent, at ~$250+ you'd likely better served elsewhere
-9060xt 16gb: Performance variable compared to 5060ti, buy only if $350 is the absolute max budget and you can't consider used
-9070: Only worth considering if cheaper than the 5070
-"Futureproofing": Nvidia gpus in general have been aging better than Radeon regardless of vram or marginal differences in raw performance

Starting to show it's age. Considering a far more powerful 14600K is ~$200, a fair price for it would be about $145 today.

youd be looking at 600€ for a am5 mobo, ddr5 ram (lmao prices), new cpu
+ 600€ for a better gpu

the gpu is by far the best upgrade now, look at 5070 or 5070 ti
then after that look at 1440p oled monitors, glossy tandem is best

5070 is likely the best option
its more powerful, relatively cost effective and will work better at 1440p for the future
dlss has wider support than fsr

so pirate windows and buy 5070 even if you have to save a bit, the cost difference vs 9060 is worth

i can only play cb77 on medium on low, don't remember fps
i can't say the load on the gpu as i don't think i ever bothered checking, but i do remember that it got really hot sometimes, like 90ºC
maybe another factor for me is how much power is it gonna draw compared to the 6600, because electricy bills are really expensive in the country right now

Not sure if anyone remembers but I’m the anon who was having trouble with his 4070ti running hot as fuck and the fans were ramping up to 100% no matter how many fans I added and I even bought a new case to see if it would help.

I finally fixed the issue.
Undervolting the GPU and now every game runs fine without DLSS and with high frame rates.
Something so simple.

I still have time to return this new case I bought - with the only reason not to is because I have my AIO radiator mounted to the top of my case which allows for the front of my case to have 3 fans.
Radiator used to be mounted at the front of my old case with tubes at the top (I’ve been told this is bad).

Is this reason alone worth keeping this case? Putting everything back into the old case will for sure suck but it is what it is. If it matters, the case was $79

We don't have a good price comparison site for Poland so advice will be more general i.e. no optimisation on the commodity components. With that in mind this would be a good starting point:
>CPU
7800X3D or 9800X3D depending on pricing/budget. Could go 265K if you do (paid) multicore work too.
>Cooler
Dual tower air; PA/PS120 or similar. 280/360mm AIO if you want super-quiet operation.
>Mobo
Always a personal choice but a B850 in the $150 (600zl?) region should be a good starting point. Avoid ASrock for X3D chips.
>RAM
Cheapest 2x16GB 6000-30-36-36 you can find. Try not to cry.
>SSD
2TB PCIe4 HMB. Again go by price.
>Card
5070Ti is probably the best you can afford with this budget. The 5080 isn't a big step up but could be viable depending on local markets. A used 4090 might be possible at the upper range of your budget
>Case
Again a more personal choice. Obviously you'll want a full mesh front but the aesthetics are up to you.
>PSU
750W/850W ATX3.1 Gold+ efficiency. Another commodity component with big regional price variation.

Example build (US pricing):

Yes most modern consumer displays are somewhere between ARGB and P3 thus they can display more intense, more saturated colors than 1996 "typical home and office viewing conditions" meaning bottom of the barrel consumer TVs which were the basis for SRGB.
Using clamped SRGB makes sense for content that was specifically produced FOR SRGB. That's why old movies can look unnatural on new TVs.
But for software, websites, anime, games etc there is no photorealistic baseline and most of the time washed out colors feel subjectively worse than full gamut.

These 31dB noise normalized results (on thick radiator) aren't running the fans near max RPM.

AOC's newer 27" 1440p VA monitor with 1152 local dimming zones has QC issues (some units are buggy when enabling the best local dimming option with HDR enabled).
There are not enough reviews for the newer 240Hz AOC miniLED (Q27G4ZMN), and it would probably cost more than the M27T6.

I have done everything i have ever found online about it but in most games i end up having to face crashes now and then

Judging by the color of this dusty front fan and the smell coming off the insides, I am left to conclude this was a smoker's build at the company which sold it to me.

Some correction in the form of a dissasembly and deep cleaning is in order first to get rid of that. Then I may or may not get it primed and or painted, some new fans, possibly take off the top and installed a new power/reset switch in a 5.25 bay front panel i/o replacement to make it a perfect rectangle on top and front, attach some cut pvc panels to square off the front panel to get rid of that angled skeletal look and make it more regal, add some foam padding or filters to the meshes, close up the plexiglass window on the side with some vinyl, add some eva and rubber for noise dampening, and then if it passes visual inspection I MIGHT use it to house my main build for the next decade, if the lack of I/O on top wont be an issue since it will likely sit on the floor.

I don't have any of those on hand, not sure if I can buy them here. I'll just have to be precise with my wet towels and hasty in my deconstruction to get this volcanic chernobylite chainsmoker ash off because its literally everywhere no matter how small the surface is.

What IPS 1440p 120+ hz monitor should I get with a $200 budget? I remember the Dell 2724D was the default last time I checked but it doesn't seem to be manufactured anymore.

seems fine, im not a fan of the 9700x personally if you just gonna play vydia and code you can get by with a 9600x and never notice the difference
You probably dont need the AIO for those 65w chips, therlmaright got your back for 40$
The mobo is also on the expensive side, research if you aren't overpaying for stuff you dont need.
In case the price difference (100 in the chip, 50 in the cooler, and whatever on the mobo) gets you somewhere

Either way your build is fine, im just giving you options

Looks like the chipped part I saw in the box was the leg stand, it cracked off. Must've gone during shipping if not before. Well, at least these side panels and the box make a good tray workbench.

Kinda wish I bought that primer along the way back today, I could probably paint the bare chassis as it is once cleaned and washed.

seemed a decent bar to set, filtering the 144hz screens as those have probably older panels when 144hz became a semi standard. You know just asking for a bit more, obviously feel free to adapt the search to your needs

A friend of mine is looking to buy a 32" IPS panel 4k high refresh rate monitor for work and occasional gaming, he's currently on one of the first 27" 60Hz 4k monitors that came out years ago.
He's looking at a few options:
Samsung Odyssey G7 G70D - plenty of reviews, mediocre panel, useless gimmicks such as edge lit "local" dimming and a TV OS
LG 32G810SA-W - I can't find a good review, but just looking at the specs it seems to be mediocre too (1000:1 contrast, 8-bit panel with dithering to 10-bits, 400 nits brightness), for some reason it still has the gimicky TV OS feature, but the LG flavour.
Dell Pro P3225QE - I didn't even realise Dell have a "Pro" series that's cheaper than the UltraSharp? Otherwise at least to me it seems like it'll have the best picture quality, but again there's not enough in-depth reviews of this monitor either and it's 100Hz which he thinks is a big downgrade from 144Hz.
I just wish all of them had credible reviews so I could give him objective advice. He'll probably go for the LG because it's white and will look good next to his white PC case and peripherals.
He doesn't care about the fact that the Samsung and LG try to be a small smart TV, or the presence or lack of DP-alt mode, PD, KVM etc. since he just needs a desktop monitor.
I know he'll probably be happy with any of them, but I can't shake the feeling that both the LG and Samsung are just cheap IPS panels that, apart from the 4k resolution would have been considered mediocre years ago.
If you have any recommendations on which of these to go for, or a better alternative for 450-550 EUR let me know.

You're overreacting, just use wet wipes and some degreaser.
A friend of mine used to run a PC Café back in the good old days when you could still smoke everywhere, and he would clear tar/nicotine staining with degreaser.

You need to look into professional-grade monitors if you want a high-quality IPS these days.
It's all budget panels in that 450-550 EUR price range or below.

Yeah I've never looked into this particular market segment, my personal monitor is a Dell U2724DE and it's brilliant, but the current year 32" 4k version of it is way too expensive.
The P3225QE at least seems to have a native 10 bit IPS panel and similar contrast ratio to mine, but it's definitely not a gaming first monitor.

I think I'll spend a bit more get a 7800x3d and make it last longer, current build is from sep/2018 with i58600k and 1070Ti so pretty well used
>You probably dont need the AIO for those 65w chips, therlmaright got your back for 40$
Yeah, you're probably right I can downgrade the AIO to a smaller one but I like to use the radiator fans as exaust or intake for the case, 2 less moving parts so is good for noise.

if you move to the 7800x3d then might as well keep the aio, its a sensibly hotter chip than the 97/600x
