Poorfag here, does anyone have iPhone 13 with ios 28 on it? What's the performance? I kinda wanted to update to get the glassy UI but I will not be sacrificing the speed and the battery life for it.

Android vs iPhone has never really been about having money for a long time. You're able to choose either in all budget brackets besides sub-$100 (Where realistically you should have higher priorities than upgrading your phone) or $2K+ (Which is just Android phones with a very niche extra feature). That being said, the 13 is too new to classify as a poorfag iPhone, those are the Xr or older.

I don’t notice much of a difference in performance or battery. It only chugs a bit when you try to change the wallpaper once in a while. I use my phone to browse safari and call and text so I have very few apps installed. Not sure if that makes a difference.

My TCL 50XL shit phone only cost me $80 and LASTS LONGER in battery life than all my Family's faggy faggot overpriced shit $200 SE iPhones they need to charge TWICE a day.

Yes, the first couple of minutes after I upgraded it was slow, but now it's fine and very smooth, looks good, not really slower (but there seem to still be a few bugs) or more battery drain than before I'd say.

I do. Its alright. There's some frame drops when messing around in the main screen, but I also noticed that in the other version, so whatever. Also, phones have gotten so powerful in the last 10 years that I doubt the slowdown comes from a lack of compute power.

Do you use it as your secondary phone? I'm planning to use it as my work phone since it has good camera and my work kinda relies on sending clear photos of small mechanical parts to my boss and clients. Probably not installing much app in it, just communication.

My main phone is still a Pixel lol.

The screen is also 120Hz which is fucking nuts that's it's still able to achieve this kind of battery life. I've thought about turning it down to 60Hz to double my battery life but the fluidity of the animations is just UGH.

Not saying the sub $100 bracket is inherently bad, I used a Nokia 1 for a month while my 6.1 was getting repaired under warranty and it was fine (Although there's way more trash than hidden gems), just that if you absolutely cannot afford leaving it, you should have better priorities than getting another phone. My personal view is that all the "poverty" tier iPhones (Currently Xr or older) suck ass compared to anything you can buy for the same price, and that above that it's merely a matter of personal preference

Depends what you pay, I get socked with $65/month for unlimited everything but I put up with it because it also comes with unlimited hotspot which seems to be unusually rare here in the US for some reason.

I have an iphone 13 mini with the latest IOS updates. It's fine, no different than before. Apple basically abandoned the mini and don't even bother to adapt various things like Safari and the keyboard to work with the smaller screen size.
