I work part time at a university and I haven't seen anyone using Windows 10 for at least a year. All the students get new HPshit laptops or macbooks every year. This is literally only a problem for /g/tists and brown thirdies.

I don't know why the Linux community isn't trying to get Linux prebuilts into stores. Most people are probably not going to install a different OS other than the one that came with their PC and will most likely just buy a new PC, and at least here in the US you're most likely to find a Windows 11 PC, a Mac or a Chromebook in stores.

I have never seen a Debian/Mint/Ubuntu/OpenSUSE/Manjaro/etc. machine being sold in a store here. System76 only seems to sell their computers exclusively on their website and mostly only those who are already in the Linux community know about it which isn't helping adoption.
